House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was asked Thursday about reports that tied Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden to an alleged influence-peddling scheme involving his son, saying she believes it’s not worth the time. When asked about the “serious allegations” surrounding Biden, Pelosi responded: “I’m sorry, I’m not answering your question.” It’s the first time Pelosi was asked about the allegations. “We’re talking about the coronavirus,” she said. “I don’t have all day for questions.” Biden’s campaign has denied that he ever met with a Ukrainian gas company official, which was allegedly revealed in a trove of emails that purportedly were found on a laptop hard drive belonging to his son, Hunter, who sat on the company’s board while his father was the vice president. Those allegations surfaced in a report from the New York Post, which obtained a hard drive containing the emails from former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. …
